At the beginning of June Ryan had a golf tournament he sponsored part of for a customer and luckily it was up by Bryan and Annie's house so we got to take a little trip to go visit them!!
Went for walk in their beautiful neighborhood.
Note Ryan's wrapped leg-he slid in a softball game and totally scraped his leg!!
Alli had her end of year dance recital and she was so excited to have some flowers :). They had to change venues and it was so hot and crowded at the backup spot :(.
Oh how I love these 3 cuties!! Not sure what I would do without them!!
Hmm wonder where Cam and Ilene are????
Many crazy tricks were learned and performed on the neighbor's swing set.
I feel like this girl became a mini-adult suddenly :(.
But we all sure love her!!
Cam admiring the "greats" while we were at BYU one night. I had a conference for Let's Play Music so I met them after for dinner.
During the second day of my meetings these lucky ducks all went boating :(. Mom was quite a bit jealous I didn't get to go!! But they all had a good time!
Ryan and I went to Las Vegas for one of his work conventions. This one was put on by GNC for all of their franchisees. I played my very first game of slots...
The expo was at the Venetian which was beautiful!!
And it was so fun to be away and have a fun, relaxing/different sort of busy night away and then so fun to come home to my kiddies!!
Ilene and Cam love to help cut anything they are allowed to! Love that Ilene is wearing gloves :).
Cam thought maybe he wanted to go in the potty...turns out he didn't.
These girls were flower girls for my dear friend Sabrina's wedding!!!
Silly binky crew!
This was headed to Bryan and Annie's house.
While the boys were golfing we went to this lake close to their house. It was so fun and the kids had a great time!!
I love these kids and I love how much fun they have together!!
These sweet, sweet girls!
More from the rides at the mall.
We went to some beautiful botanical gardens!
Cute stump chairs in one of the gardens.
Then of course a (poor) snake came across the path...
so of course it "had" to be caught...
Ugh
And the bravest of the brave touched it ;). Ilene was very intrigued and Alli, Audrey, and Julia got up the guts to touch it too. Note-I did not touch it!
Cam totally fell outside and clearly got all muddy while they were watering something.
My beautiful dancer! She became so much more graceful and coordinated throughout this year! Her confidence increased and she really started being able to remember the dance instead of just watching the girls around her.
Alli had swimming lessons and totally rocked them...Cam totally rocked playing with this hose. She was nervous because she moved up a level and she had to tread water for like 3 minutes to pass the level, but she had done a little refresher set of lessons earlier and totally killed everything-swimming down and back no problem front and back stroke. She learned quite a few strokes and became a really smooth swimmer!
Fun trip to Thanksgiving Point with our neighbor friend
Grandma and her ice cream cones! They love going to visit her anyway so you add in an ice cream cone and it is pretty well perfection!
grocery store ice cream cones.
Ilene became so good at going to a float in her lessons. Made me a tad bit more relieved, but still every so watchful around water!!
Visiting Lynda's new house and the goats.
Naked Cam (it was after swimming) driving the tractor.
brave ALli holding a chicken...and then promptly scrubbing said hands after!
Cute Olivia with my girls who just adore her! They thought it was great they were matching.
ALli got fitted for her space maintainer for the space where her tooth fell out too early. It was pretty simple and should keep her spacing how it is now.
More of Ilene's lessons.
We went and picked some cherries. The kids thought it was so great to be up in the trees!
Ryan did a Spartan Beast race. I signed up and was on the fence about if I could complete the upper body oriented challenges (after seeing it I think I could have.... or I would have done a ton of burps!) and then a few days before, I passed out and then was really lightheaded (like I couldn't walk across the room without starting to black out) so I was definitely out. But Ryan did awesome and we were great spectators.
After his first mud pit.
The girls did the Spartan kids race.
They had a bunch of mini obstacles like tire flips, mud pits, walls to climb and go over/under
And they both got finisher's medals at the end!
Proud of my determined, persistent, strong girls!
And way proud of my Spartan Beastly man!!
And a total wife fail here-I thought I was getting an awesome picture and video of him jumping a smoldering pit/small fire at the finish line but instead I got my forehead :(>
Ilene doing a chin up on the little kids' bar.
Some splash pad fun!
